EVEREST 4 ETERNITY

Everest 4 Eternity is a community endurance event at Townsville’s Castle Hill on Saturday 25 July 2026, where participants climb the hill repeatedly to match the height of Mount Everest—about 8,849 vertical metres, or roughly 36 laps. Registration opens at 7am with the climb starting at 8am, and people can take part solo or in teams. The goal is to raise funds for Christian RI in Townsville schools, with $1 raised for every metre climbed, helping give more students the opportunity to explore Christian beliefs and values. It’s a 24-hour challenge focused on perseverance, community, and raising support for youth programs.
