We all know the importance of exercise, but do you have an illness, injury, or condition which makes it more difficult? Come to our community event to trial different exercise formats and quiz our exercise experts on what activity is right for you. Join Alliance Rehabilitation’s Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Jacinta & Jake, as they lead you through a free community event targeted towards keeping active.
What is Hydrotherapy?
It is a targeted water-based exercise format that uses the support of the water to improve balance, range of movement, muscle strength, and cardiovascular fitness.
The water helps ease physical stress on the body & therefore increases your exercise tolerance, leading to greater outcomes.
What are Strand Striders?
A supervised community walking group along the Strand designed to improve muscular strength, endurance, aerobic fitness, coordination, agility, & encourage social interaction.
