STEP UP FOR DOWN SYNDROME AND INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY

Join us for a fun-filled morning of entertainment, movement, and community as we come together at the beautiful Riverway for people with Down syndrome and intellectual disability.

Whether you’re walking with family, friends, or colleagues, it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect, celebrate inclusion, and show your support for a community where everyone belongs.

There will be heaps of fun stuff for all age groups including drumming circle with Alex Salvador, entertainment from Windy Wizard, face painting, music, petting zoo, a presentation by a young lady Emma Lynam pursuing her interests in a modelling career, Feros care, Wellways, an amazing author of Evolution Autistic who has written a book about autism, and much more. The amazing girls from Kulur Trio and an awesome young man with Sweet Wheels will be providing eats and drinks. People can come along and connect, relax and check out information about activities and support in the Townsville region.
