Townsville Parkinson’s Seminar

Event Description Parkinson’s Queensland is coming to Townsville to deliver a seminar designed to empower individuals living with Parkinson’s, as well as their families and friends. Gain essential information, support, and a sense of community.

Expert Panel speakers will be:

– Dr Richard White, Neurologist, discussing challenges in Parkinson’s treatment and future therapy directions,
– Prof Brian Wood, a Geriatrician, discusses the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s,
– Jacinta Bonaventura, an EP, discussing the role of exercise, and
– Elissa Alferez, a Speech Pathologist, discusses how Speech Therapy assists with speech and swallowing.

Bookings are essential and places are limited.

$20 Parkinson’s Qld Members/ $30 non-members.
