Media Conference, CONNECT 20 starts 1-5 June and instead of the usual Gold Coast-based conference, COVID has forced organisers to move it online. Interested participants can watch live online or on-demand for 60 days by registering online through the website for Christian Media and Arts Australia (CMAA) – summit.mediaarts.org.
CMAA CEO, Nathan Brown, said the conference has many speakers. “We have lined up so everybody from the sister of Lenny Kravitz to Darren Mulligan even Michael W. Smith. There’s just a wealth of people and a quality of people that God’s actually provided.”
Nathan went on to say, “The takeaway during this conference is how we will think, create, speak in new ways, have a rebirth in our lives, in our ministry and in the way that we engage with culture.”
Philip Rentsch, Station Manager at 99.9 Live FM said a number of people at the station would be involved in the conference., “We are part of the CMAA double framework because it strengthens Christian radio and ultimately changes lives in Australia and New Zealand.”
This event has been around for nearly 40 years, but this is the first time it will be held online and open to such a wide audience.
