This ANZAC Day we’d like to do something a little different, we know how closely tied our community is with the defence force. Both historically and presently, thousands of Townsville’s bravest have fought to defend our lucky country. Many have returned for which we’re thankful, some have not, but their service is what allows us to live the free lives we are so blessed to live.
Live FM would like to invite you to submit or record stories of those you remember that have served in a branch of the Australian armed forces. The ones you think of, the ones you honour every ANZAC day, we would like to remember and honour them too.
Very simply we’d like you to tell their story, including their name, when and where they have served, and a brief story of their service. You can do this in 2 ways, either by submitting a written story and photos by emailing admin@livfm.com.au or calling to record the story on 4767 7181.
Stories will be posted in a blog on ANZAC Day and broadcast on air in the days leading up to the 25th.
