We want to celebrate Shining Stars in Townsville by giving your community group, local charity, sporting club, or church, a chance to be promoted on 99.9 Live FM through on-air sponsorship.
It doesn’t matter how big or small, as long as they are a local not-for-profit, community-focused group.

Notch provides valuable place-based community connection via children’s playgroups, school holiday programs and local community events. Local teens are encouraged to ‘Make A Difference’ via volunteering programs and work experience opportunities.
We have multiple services to the community including emergency food relief, support with furniture, washing machines etc. Our facilities get used by over 4 different church groups and up to 10 different community groups- which we see as a way to strengthen our relationships with our community.

We save the lives of animals and re-home them to be loved and cared for in a new environment, We also take in animals from all situations and get them fully vetted before finding them a forever home, once they are healthy and have been treated in full by a vet.

Established in 1931, our Association is primarily involved in the sport of table tennis. We have a junior, senior and women's only training program. Through the year we also hold many tournaments. Table Tennis is a low impact and sun safe sport. Visitors are welcome and the whole family can join!
