The multi-million-dollar procession of Supercar transporters returns to Townsville to mark the official start to this year’s NTI Townsville 500.

20 massive B-Double transporters will begin the journey from Webb Drive at the Bohle, taking a right turn down Ingham road, then Shaw Road, along the Ring Road, before starting the fanfare along Hervey Range Road, Ross River Road and Charters Towers Road, finishing at Reid Park.

Spectators are encouraged to congregate safely along Hervey Range Road, Ross River Road and Charters Towers Road; keeping in mind parking is not permitted along Shaw Road/The Ring Road.

NTI Townsville 500 Event Manager Sam Pearce said the transporter parade is a great way to kick off official proceedings for this year’s event.
