Register your little one for the March Welcoming Babies ceremony before it’s booked out.
The ceremony is a special event for our city’s youngest residents and their families to welcome new babies to the Townsville community.
Mayor Jenny Hill said the Welcoming Babies ceremonies were always well-attended.
“Townsville is growing each year and it’s always a pleasure to be able to welcome the youngest locals to our community,” Cr Hill said. “Each family who attends this special event will receive a certificate, a gift bag and we will be able to take a photo together. This event will be run in a COVID safe manner and will be held at Townsville Stadium, running in conjunction with the Townsville Babies and Kids Expo. Register quickly to make sure you secure a spot for you and your little one at the Welcoming Babies ceremony.”
The Welcoming Babies Ceremony will be held on Saturday March 19.
Registrations are open now and close on Friday February 25.
