On Saturday the 13th of November, the vision of a Pregnancy and Parenting Support Centre in the Townsville Community will be on display at an information morning and free morning tea.
Townsville Pregnancy and Parenting Support will invite members of the community to come and hear about the services TPPS has to offer including; Grief support and counselling, options consulting, practical baby goods support, mothers support groups and parenting support.
Association secretary Stacey Robertson says “The specialist support offered by a Pregnancy and Parenting Support service is lacking in our community. 1 in 4 pregnancies in Australia are unplanned, and we need to provide assistance to women in these unplanned pregnancy situations. Emotional and practical support through this ‘Hub of Love’ is going to be life-changing for women and babies in our community’.
