REMEMBRANCE DAY

Townsville City Council, in partnership with the Townsville and Thuringowa RSL Subbranches, will host Remembrance Day services on Tuesday 11 November 2025 to commemorate the official end of hostilities in World War I.

This Remembrance Day, stop and take a minute to remember those who fought for our freedom.

Join Townsville City Council in partnership with the Townsville and Thuringowa RSL Sub-Branches at two locations:

o   10.30am, Anzac Memorial Park, The Strand

o   10.40am, Thuringowa Cenotaph, Riverway

We invite the community to attend a service, wear a poppy or observe a minute’s silence at 11am, to pay tribute to those who served our country.

We will remember them.
