WORLD DAY OF PRAYER

The World Day of Prayer on Friday, 6 March 2026 is a global Christian movement that invites people from all denominations to come together in unity and prayer. This year, we are invited to pray for the people of Nigeria, listening to their stories, challenges, and faith, and lifting them before God together. Services will be held in Townsville both in the morning at St James’ Retirement Village at 9:30am and in the evening at Saint Peter’s Anglican Church at 7:00pm. This special day is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and stand in solidarity with Christians around the world, reminding us that prayer connects us across cultures, nations, and communities. All are warmly welcome to attend and be part of this meaningful time of worship and prayer.
