Shape Townsville’s future with liveability survey
Townsville residents can now rate their neighbourhood for the chance to win one of 10 $100 gift cards or a grand prize valued at $1000. The 2024 Townsville Liveability Survey is residents’ chance to share their experience and help Townsville City Council understand what is important to them. Mayor Troy Thompson said the survey would help council improve the city’s liveability.
“Council has a long-term commitment towards improving the city’s liveability, focusing on land use, the environment, infrastructure investment and community development,” Cr Thompson said. “The survey results will help Council decide on where to focus investment, employment and incentive opportunities in the future. “Plus when you take the 10-minute survey, you have the chance to win one of 10 $100 gift cards or a grand prize valued at $1000. “This is our city and your voice matters.”
Cr Thompson said there would be a number of face-to-face sessions available for residents to learn more about the survey.
“Council’s in-person sessions are a great place to ask questions or find out why the survey is so important. We’re focused on making sure residents from all across Townsville are able to share their views,” he said.
The 2024 Townsville Liveability Survey closes at 11.59pm on Friday October 11. To find out more and to complete the liveability survey, head to Council’s website.
