CELEBRATING FATHERHOOD
The aim of the award is to recognise the significant role fathers play in their children’s well-being and development and to raise awareness of the value of fathers in the family and the community.
It identifies and honours outstanding fathers for their exceptional commitment to raising their children or for their exemplary contribution to the development of children in the community.

The winners from all five regions around the state will be invited to a special luncheon on Thursday, August 29, 2019, where the state winner will be announced.

The Queensland Father of the Year Award honours and celebrates the importance of fathers and father-figures throughout our state and its local communities.
Nominations from across the state will be judged by a panel of community leaders in the lead up to Father’s Day on 1st September 2019.
